Website maintenance services, so your site keeps working while you work.
Your website is never really “finished.” Plugins need updates, backups need testing and security issues appear without warning. 01 / why it matters
Why WordPress maintenance services matter
WordPress runs a large share of the web, which makes it a regular target. Most hacked WordPress sites aren’t hacked through WordPress itself. They’re hacked through outdated plugins and themes.
Without regular care, small problems grow quietly:
- Security holes. Old plugins are a common way in for attackers.
- Broken features. An update to one plugin can break a form or a checkout. Nobody notices until leads stop.
- Slow pages. Bloat builds up over time and drags down speed and Core Web Vitals.
- Lost data. A backup you never tested may not restore when you need it.
- SEO decay. Broken links, crawl errors and slow pages chip away at rankings.
WordPress maintenance services catch these early, when they’re cheap and quick to fix.

04 / onboarding
How getting started works
-
01
Audit.
I check your site’s health, plugins, hosting, backups and security. You get a clear list of any problems.
-
02
Fix the backlog.
If anything is out of date or broken, I fix it first. This may be a one-off cost, quoted after the audit (small fixes from $150).
-
03
Set up monitoring.
Backups, uptime checks, security scans and reporting are set up and tested.
-
04
Ongoing care.
Your plan starts. You get a report each month and one email address for any request.
05 / the monthly report
You’ll always know what I did
Each month you get a short report. No jargon, no 40-page PDF. It covers:
- Updates applied, and anything I held back and why
- Backup status and the last test restore
- Uptime for the month, as a percentage
- Security scan results
- Speed and Core Web Vitals status
- Changes I made at your request
- One or two suggestions to improve the site
06 / who you’re working with
One person who knows your site
I’m Asif Ameer. When I maintain your site, you’re not handed to a ticket queue. You talk to the person doing the work.
That matters when something breaks. I already know how your site is built, which custom plugins it runs and which pages bring in leads. If you need bigger changes, I can handle those too through WordPress development or SEO services.

Agencies: I offer white-label care plans for agencies.
What do website maintenance services include?
My plans include WordPress core, plugin and theme updates, daily off-site backups, security and uptime monitoring and a monthly report. Higher plans add speed and Core Web Vitals checks, form and checkout testing, Search Console monitoring and more development time. Every plan includes a set amount of time for small changes like text edits and image swaps.
Do I really need WordPress maintenance services?
If your site brings in leads or sales, yes. Outdated plugins are a common way WordPress sites get hacked, and updates can break forms without warning. You can do the work yourself if you have the time and know how to test updates safely. Most business owners would rather spend that time running the business.
Can I switch between website maintenance packages?
Yes. You can move up or down a plan at the start of any billing month. If your needs change — say you add a shop or start running ads — moving up is easy. If you need less, you can move down. Notice period: 30 days.
Do you maintain sites you didn’t build?
Yes. Most of the sites I maintain were built by someone else. Before taking a site on, I run an audit to check its plugins, theme, hosting and security. If there’s a backlog of problems, I’ll quote to fix them first, so the plan starts from a clean, stable base.
What happens if my site gets hacked?
On every plan, I’ll respond, clean the site, close the hole that let the attacker in and restore from a clean backup if needed. Malware cleanup is included on every plan, up to 3 hours; anything beyond that is billed at $75/hour. I’ll also check Search Console for security warnings and request a review if Google has flagged the site.
Are WordPress care plans the same as hosting?
No. Hosting is the server your site lives on. A care plan is the ongoing work that keeps the site updated, secure and fast. I can work with your current host, or recommend and manage a move if your hosting is slow or unreliable. Hosting costs are separate: you pay your host directly, so you always own the account.
