problem
The problem
Reema Siraj is a cake artist who teaches in many ways: recorded video tutorials, live online group classes, private sessions, in-person workshops and one-to-one mentorship.
She needed one website to sell all of it. Students had to be able to pay securely, then see exactly what they bought, and nothing they hadn’t, from their own account. Her paid videos also had to stay protected from sharing.

What I built
One shop for five ways to learn
Video tutorials, online group classes, private sessions, in-person workshops and mentorship each have their own product type and pages, plus galleries of Reema’s work and her students’ cakes, press features and reviews.
Checkout and payments, built from scratch
- A cart saved to the student’s account, so it follows them between devices.
- Stripe checkout with payment intents, and a signature-verified webhook that confirms each payment before anything is unlocked.
- Discount codes, and an orders area for Reema with admin actions and CSV export.
A student account that unlocks the right content
Each student gets My Videos, My Classes, My Workshops and My Mentorship. Access follows the purchase, and Reema can revoke it when she needs to.
Protected video streaming
Paid lessons stream through short-lived, signed links issued per student, with an ownership check on every request and support for seeking through the video. A shared link stops working on its own.

safety
How it keeps payments and lessons safe
Selling paid content means security can’t be an afterthought:
- Payments confirmed by Stripe’s signed webhook, not by the browser
- Signed, expiring video links with a check that the student owns the lesson
- reCAPTCHA v3 on forms, and security headers across the site
- Branded password reset and an audit trail of admin activity
- Bulk gallery importer and large-file uploads for Reema’s media
